Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how people use our pages. Some cookies are set by LPC (“first-party”); others are set by third parties (e.g., analytics or embedded services).

Under Australian law, cookie data may be personal information if it can reasonably identify you. Where that’s the case, our handling of it follows our Privacy Policy and the APPs.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Strictly necessary – to deliver pages, maintain security, and manage sessions.

  • Performance/analytics – to understand site usage and improve content.

  • Functional – to remember choices (e.g., language or form inputs).

  • Advertising/marketing (optional) – to measure campaigns or show relevant content on other sites.

We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

  • Cookie banner & preferences: On your first visit (and periodically thereafter), you can accept all cookies or manage categories. You can change your choices anytime via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

  • Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

  • Opt-outs: If we use third-party analytics or advertising, you may also opt out with those providers (see “Third parties” below).

Third parties

We may use reputable providers (e.g., analytics, tag managers, embedded video, maps, or newsletter tools). These services may set their own cookies and collect information about your interaction with our site and, in some cases, across other sites. Where they act as our service providers, we require appropriate safeguards consistent with the APPs. Where they act independently, their privacy practices apply—please review their policies.

Retention

Cookies persist for different periods:

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.

  • Persistent cookies: remain for a defined period (e.g., 1 day to 24 months) unless you delete them earlier.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” (DNT). There is no common Australian standard for DNT signals; our site does not currently respond to DNT. You can still manage cookies via our preferences tool and browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to technology, law, or our services. We’ll post updates here with a new “Last updated” date.
